After this the aluminum billets are transferred to the press container and the pressure is applied to it by a hydraulic ram that forces the aluminum that fills the tank. As the pressure in the container increases, the aluminum is forced through the openings into the aluminum extrusion die. From the die, aluminum logs emerge. With stretching, the parts are made straight and ready to use for further utilities.
